An MMA sports romance.
Trevor James lost an important fight a couple months ago to a guy he can’t stand, his first loss in a long time. While spending a weekend in Las Vegas, he runs into Sonny, the ringside doctor who checked him over after he was knocked out in that last fight. He’s determined to talk to her again and apologize for his bad attitude, though he isn’t very good with words. What he isn’t expecting is to ask her out on a date...that’s followed by 3 weeks of separation as he trains back home for his next fight. He asks his new lab partner, Hayden, to tutor him and is quickly consumed by her unending kindness and her positive attitude.
Hayden Banks is an only child and likes to stick to herself. She’s studying to be a high school science teacher and she can tell her new lab partner is struggling with the content so when he asks, she agrees to tutor him. She isn’t expecting him to feel the same desire that she does but they soon become more than lab partners.
As Alex and Hayden get to know each other they recognize how different their backgrounds are and Alex’s past quickly starts to mess with his head and maybe this new relationship.
